Ken Parkinson is a shareholder in Howard, Lewis & Petersen. He began working there in August, 1994, after completing a clerkship with Judge Lynn W. Davis of the Fourth Judicial District Court. Ken completed his Bachelor's degree at Utah State University with a degree in English. While he was there he was on several editorial boards and published articles on political and legal philosophy. Ken graduated from Drake University Law School in 1993 where he emphasized his legal skills by winning several awards for his oral advocacy. Ken litigates employment and personal injury cases. He is the past President of the Central Utah Bar Association (2007-2008). He was appointed by Governor Hantsman to serve on the Judicial Selection Committee for the Fourth District Court, and is on the Advisory Board for the Utah Association for Justice. Ken has also served on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity and has volunteered for the Boy Scouts of America. He currently serves as Chief Administrative Officer for Freedom Academy Charter School. Ken loves spending time with this family, mountain biking and reading a good book. He and his wife, Ginger, have four beautiful children.
