Phillip E. Lowry is a shareholder in the firm and has been employed with the firm since 1993. He received a "BV" rating in Martindale-Hubble in the first year he was eligible. He joined the firm after serving as a law clerk for the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Mr. Lowry received his bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University in 1989, summa cum laude, and his law degree from The University of California, Los Angeles in 1992. He served as an editor on the UCLA Law Review. In addition to his experience in personal injury and complex tort cases, Mr. Lowry has tried complex water law cases, and serves a number of municipalities and clients regarding development issues. He also represents a variety of businesses for their dispute resolution needs. Mr. Lowry is a judge advocate with the United States Army Reserve, and has extentive particular training in fiscal, criminal, administrative and government contracting law. His current assignment in the Army has him defending Soldiers in Administrative and criminal proceedings. Criminal defense is also one of his practice areas in the firm. Mr. Lowry is general counsel for the Utah National Parks Council of the Boy Scouts of America, and he is a member of the Orchestra at Temple Square. Mr. Lowry's practice areas include: Personal Injury, Commercial Law, Criminal Law, Real Estate, Medical Malpractice, Products Liability, Appellate Advocacy, Water Law, and Governmental Law.
