Ken received his Bachelor’s degree in English at Utah State University. While there, he served on several editorial boards and published articles on political and legal philosophy. He graduated from Drake University Law School, clerked for the Honorable Judge Lynn W. Davis and has been at Howard, Lewis & Petersen since 1994.

Ken served the community in several capacities. He was the Chief Administrative Officer for Freedom Preparatory Academy and on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity. He is the past President of the Central Utah Bar Association. Governor John Huntsman, Jr. appointed him to the Utah Fourth District Judicial Selection Committee and on the Advisory Board for the Utah Association for Justice.

The Salt Lake Tribune has published Ken’s Opinion and Editorial articles. He has taught seminars for the Utah Association of Public Charter Schools, bar and lawyer associations, the National Business Institute, Sterling Educational Services and Argosy University.

Ken loves sculpting, mountain biking and a good book. He is an amputee and recently completed his first triathlon. He is a managing partner for Howard, Lewis & Petersen.
