She later attended Brigham Young University and completed a Bachelor’s degree in Geospatial Intelligence and minor in History. Laurie is a licensed paralegal with the Utah State Bar.

Laurie uses her considerable paralegal multi tasking skills and customer service experience to help families in transition by providing detailed support to the attorneys and her clients. From complex litigation cases to simple uncontested divorces, she is involved from beginning to end. Laurie assists clients by providing regular contact and updates, managing the discovery process, maintaining the case calendar and deadlines, and drafting pleadings and letters. Laurie also maintains document production and the client case file, and is integral in preparing for mediation, case evaluations, hearings and trials.

Laurie is actively involved in the Paralegal Association of the Utah State Bar events such as the Wills for Heroes program.

In addition to paralegal duties, Laurie handles the firm bookkeeping and is the front-line contact with clients and vendors. Laurie manages accounts, retainers, billing and settlement funds.
